Welcome Bulletin
Welcome to LISHEP2009, both Session A - Dedicated to the Professor of High School and the Session C - Workshop on Forward Physics Exotica and Associated Technologies. We will have a number of very good talks about topics being discussed for the future and present experiments mainly in LHC.
Arrival
Airport instructions are generally presented on board of your aircraft. <st1:place w:st="on">Rio</st1:place> arrival procedures are very standard. As soon as you arrive you will go through passport control with separate counters for Brazilian and non-Brazilian citizens.<o:p></o:p>Be aware that, depending on your nationality, you MAY NEED A VISA to be admitted to <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:country-region w:st="on">Brazil</st1:country-region></st1:place>. If you have a TOURIST VISA, please remember to check TOURISM in the appropriate space of the admission form.<o:p></o:p>
<o:p></o:p>If you have any problem feel free to call us. On the left menu, you find some phone numbers. Do not forget to exchange some money to Reais. The airport is a convenient place to do that at Banco do Brasil S. A.

Clothes
Cariocas (Rio de Janeiro natives) dress rather casually, shorts and sandals are frequently seen on the streets. It is summer! Expect temperatures between 25 C (77 F) and 40 C (104 F). Be cautious with the sun and do not forget a sun block lotion before going to the beach. Avoid wearing jewelry or expensive items.
Registration
All participants are requested to Register on the LISHEP 2006 webpage.
Please, do not forget to register for: (it will be necessary to have a number of participants to get the
reservations, then, in the end of the second day we will do the reservations for the group.)
For that on the registration desk on the door of the main Auditorium you will find persons in charge
to register you in one or more event below, or confirm your registration. This was organize by a current
Tourism Agency then you pay directly to them the correspondent price for each one of the events.

You will have wireless network access in the conference room.
Your Talk
Please make your slides available before the school and the workshop in preference PPT or PDF format or by providing a web link. The best is to do your own upload in the webpage

Pendrive will be welcome. If you experiment any difficulty with your talk please let us know.
