How to reach Padova
The site of the Conference is Padova. The town is located in North-East Italy, 43 km west of Venice, 240 km east of Milan, 500 km north of Rome.
Padova has a population of about 220 thousand people. The town hosts one of the largest and oldest universities in Italy (from A.D. 1222, second after Bologna A.D. 1088).
Art and culture treasures are located in Padova such as the Cappella degli Scrovegni (Giotto’s frescos), Palazzo della Ragione (Medieval justice palace), Palazzo del Bo (Historical palace of the University of Padova) and Basilica of Sant’Antonio.
BY CAR:
Padova is accessible by car from the A4 (Milano-Padova-Venezia) motorway (autostrada) and from the A13 (Bologna-Padova-Venezia).
BY TRAIN:
The main train lines are the Milano-Venezia and Roma-Venezia.
Fast hourly service is provided during the day to Milano (2.30 hours) and Roma (3 to 3.30 hours).

BUS SERVICE
A bus service from Airport to Padova centre stops just at the exit of the airport. The name of the bus company is BUSITALIA.
Otherwise, on exit from the airport there are several buses to the railway station Mestre-Venezia from where there are direct trains for Padova.

Monday to Sunday: at the minutes 40 of every hour, starting from 8:40 to 21:40
From Padova to Venice Airport:
Monday to Sunday: at the minutes 25 of every hour, starting from 7:25 to 20:25 (additional one at 6:25 on Saturday and Sunday)

Tickets can be bought inside the airport, or in the bus at higher fare.
The bus arrives at Padova bus station and then you can get a taxi to your Hotel in Padova from the nearby railway station.
