Monday 28 August 2017 Welcome Drink and Music Performance 

Location: The terrace of the venue Great Arsenali (KAM) and nearby taverna Karnagio. 19:00-20:15 Welcome drink while enjoying sunset (approximately at 20:00); 20:15 - 21:30 Music performance: Byzantinian choir with traditional Cretan, Greek and Byzantinian music. Open to general public. See the poster here. The programme of the choir performance can be found here. The participation of the Byzantinian choir is sponsored by the  ΠΕΡΙΦΕΡΕΙΑ ΚΡΗΤΗΣ (Regional Government of Crete). Organizers: Ioannis Georgakakis, Ioannis Damarlakis.

 

Tuesday 29 August 2017 Workshop Dinner

	NOTE: A visit to the Technical University of Crete is planned after lunch break. The departure meeting point for the bus is Hotel Kriti (Nikiforou Foka & Kiprou, 73100, Chania) at 15:00 (see the map here). After the visit to the Technical University of Crete, around 18:30, we leave for the taverna Loukoulos, at Marathi. On our way we will stop at a popular view point (Venizelos Tomb) where the group photo will be taken.
	We will arrive at the seaside taverna Loukoulos before the sunset. The ones who wish to take a swim, bring your swimming suits! After dinner, Cretan and Greek traditional music and dancing will be performed by the dancing group "Psiloritis" (music by L. Lentarakis, M. Lentarakis, N. Stamatakis, G. Verikakis, A.
