Social activities included in the conference package:
- A welcome reception (with food) at Birmingham Botanical Gardens on the evening of Monday 3rd April
- A concert by the Birmingham Symphonic Brass Orchestra in the Elgar Concert Hall at the University of Birmingham on the evening of Tuesday 4th April
- Conference banquet at Birmingham Council House on the evening of Wednesday 5th April
Also included in the conference package, there will be a choice of excursions on the afternoon of Thursday 6th April. Please indicate your preference when registering.
- Stratford-upon-Avon for the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust
- Warwick Castle
- Canal Boat Tour of Central Birmingham
- A walk in the Malvern Hills
Note that the excursions to the Black Country Museum and Ironbridge Gorge Museum have been withdrawn due to lack of interest. We have also now allocated all available tickets for the Royal Shakespeare Company performance in Stratford-upon-Avon.
