In the sculpture garden, one of the largest in Europe, you can enjoy both sculptures and nature. Distributed throughout the garden are over 160 sculptures by iconic artists, from Aristide Maillol to Jean Dubuffet, from Marta Pan to Pierre Huyghe. The museum is embedded in the National Park Hoge Veluwe, where you can take a walk or bike, and relax in a unique landscape. This tour will be a bus tour.

Option 2: Historical tour
This tour will show you Utrecht as one of the most populous cities in The Netherlands. Although there is some evidence of earlier settlement in the region of Utrecht, dating back to the Stone Age (app. 1800-800 BCE), the founding date of the city is usually related to the construction of a Roman fortification, probably built around 50 CE.  Utrecht´s ancient city centre features many buildings and structures several dating as far back as the High Middle Ages. It has been the religious centre of The Netherlands since the 8th century and hosts today the largest university of the country. This tour will be a combined boat and walking tour.

Option 3: H2O tour
Be careful, this tour could be wet! We will explore Utrecht by canoe. Via the “Biltse Grift”, a guide will show us hidden places and history of the city. You will follow small brooks, where you can only come by boat and will experience a unique silence in the midst of the city.
