Bus Stops in Kansai airport (KIX)
The bus stops to cities from KIX is on the first (ground) floor, on the same level as the arrival gate of Terminal 1. The stop #6 ('6' in a green box in the map above) is to Kobe Sannomiya and Rokko island. All the coaches going through Rokko island also go to Kobe Sannomiya. It takes 65-75 min if there is no traffic jam - it may take up to 90min.
The destination bus stop in Sannomiya is located at the south of Sannomiya train station, see the city centre map. From there, you go to the Port Liner station you see about 100m to the north (hillside) of the bus stop and take Port Liner to the hotels in Port Island , walk to your hotel if you are in Sannomiya (at most 10 min walk) or take a taxi (~650 yen to hotels in Sannomiya area, about 3,000 yen to Port Island hotels) if you are not sure about the location of the hotel.
Ticket counter for coaches to Kobe Sannomiya
The ticket counter is located outside (see below) the building opposite to the bus stop #5, which you see behind the pillar in the picture above.
The vending machine looks like below. One way ticket to Sannomiya is 1950 yen (~15 Eur), the return ticket (valid for 30 days) is 3080 yen.
