Description:
Salvador is the starting point to know the history of Brazilian civilization. It is also known as one of the most important patrimonies of the world’s colonial architecture (UNESCO). We will start our tour through the modern district of Barra, on the entrance of Baía de Todos os Santos, where the famous Farol da Barra is placed. We will continue to the central areas until the Pelourinho (Historic Center) which is the area with the largest and most preserved set of colonial architecture in America. Passing through the town square (Elevador Lacerda) we cross the colorful and busy streets of the historic center where we will visit: Praça da Sé, Igreja de São Francisco (Igreja do Ouro) and Largo do Pelourinho (Entrance Included).

A FEW WORDS ABOUT SALVADOR/BAHIA:
Salvador, capital of Bahia is the cradle of African Culture in Brazil. Capital of rhythms, flavors, music and parties, Salvador is also synonymous with history – first capital of Brazil and important commercial pole of the colonial era developed between the entrance of Bahia de Todos os Santos and the Atlantic Ocean. Place of encounter of cultures, where Africa, Europe and the first people of Brazil, the natives, joined together, often against their own will, to create the principles that formed Brazil as we know it today.

From this cultural union, Bahia created a vision of life that mixes creativity, taste for partying and other playful activities, spirituality where all human senses are in permanent awakening. Therefore, Salvador is the ideal stage for a culture and exoticism bath and so we created a series of cultural tours and excursions. From the unavoidable cultural visits through the Historic Center and museums, cheerful nights with rhythms and local flavors, passing through the great themes essential to knowledge, we present you a bunch of options for activities and touring in Salvador and its surroundings totally faithful to the image of the place: diversified, colorful, tropical and unforgettable.
