Description
In this talk, the speaker will present the computer security risk landscape as faced by academia and research organisations; look into various motivations behind attacks; and explore how these threats can be addressed. This will be followed by details of several types of vulnerabilities and incidents recently affecting HEP community, and lessons learnt. The talk will conclude with a outlook into possible future trends, and ways of responding to them.
