Birds of a Feather

During the conference there will be an opportunity to participate in, and organise your own, smaller meetings with fellow attendees on boutique topics of relevance. The sessions are a feature of the CHEP conference series and are referred to as `birds-of-a-feather' sessions! CHEP is a wonderful opportunity to gather collaborators together you normally only see virtually. There are several venues that may be reserved for BoF sessions, with varying availability.

Hall F

The main exhibition hall has the capacity to host a large number of small group meetings simultaneously.

  • Around the perimeter there are 10 semi-private stand up meeting spaces with high bar tables, suitable for small groups of up to 12 people.
  • In the centre of the hall there are 25 round tables, each seating up to 10 people.
  • Against the eastern wall there is a stand up meeting zone with white board facilities available for small group discussions.

Hall F is available during the parallel sessions, and also on Wednesday afternoon for those who are not participating in an excursion.

Riverbank Boardroom (RB)

The Riverbank boardroom is available as a private meeting space for up to 20 people with audio-visual facilities that can be reserved.

  • Includes screen with Bluetooth connectivity.

The boardroom is available during parallel sessions and breaks.

Riverbank rooms (R1-R8)

If you require a larger space and/or projection facilities for your BoF meeting, you can reserve one of the parallel rooms R1-R8 during the lunch breaks on Monday, Tuesday, or Thursday.
