Description
ECal type "shashlik" having sampling 300 micron Pb and transverse cell size ~4x4 cm2 has the ability to measure energy with the resolution up to 5% in the range of energy at NICA.
Due to not fully projective geometry of the detector (the reason is the large scatter of the interaction point), in certain cases, a correction of the hit position depending on the interaction point is needed. As an example, it is shown that using this correction when restoring π0 can reduce the sigma in two times.
It found an easy method to calibrate calorimeter using cosmic muons.
