The Project STREAM, Smart Sensor Technologies and Training for Radiation Enhanced Applications and Measurements, is a career development project funded from the EU Horizon 2020 Research and Innovation Program. The Early Stage Researchers (ESR) funded by the project make advancement in CMOS Technologies Assessment, Smart Sensor Design, Validation and Qualification and in Technology Integration and Valorisation. They work in tight collaboration with experts in the field and receive quality training to boost their scientific profile and market oriented skills. Details of the project and the ESRs profiles can be found in the project website.
The STREAM Final Conference addresses the current research challenges on smart sensors manufacturing technology, design and qualification. The project’s final results will be presented to a wide audience of experts, stakeholders and researchers.
Highly recognised invited speakers in the fields of Sensor Advanced Manufacturing, Venture Capital Initiatives and Knowledge Transfer will also discuss their advances and experience.
----
The event will be held at IdeaSquare, CERN Building 3179
The event is composed of :
Experts and ESRs' Presentations on Systems Design and Integration, Technology Integration and Valorisation; Industry Session.
The participants will work on Technology Transfer in Humanitarian, Social and Sustainable Mobility.
Ivam,
Nice slides!
slide 2: just for info Outermost layer is 3m2
slide 17: add reference that this is fixed in latest version of MonoPix already
slide 20: please add reference to MiniMALTA test results that efficiency is now >98% after fixes with implant and transistor (-> reference to Ivan's slides)
Heinz:
Dear Callum - many thanks for the nice slides.
Small comments:
slide 1 - maybe change "Web cam based" in title to "CMOS sensor cased" to make a more direct connection to our porject.
slide 9: Do you know how thick the IR window is? Maybe this shields a lot of the ALPHAs and causes a significant energy loss which will smear your alpha peak position in the brightness distribution....
slide 16/17: it may be interesting to give the "no source" number of hits you observe with the same setting to have a comparison of your alpha measurements with an "empty" measurement.
Did you compare the number of observed particle hits to the activity of the source?
