Description

The production of hyperon resonances (Sigma(1385), Xi(1530) and Lambda(1520)) in pp, p-Pb and Pb-Pb collisions at the LHC is used to probe the interplay of particle re-scattering and regeneration in the hadronic phase. Moreover, resonances containing strange quarks can also be affected by the so-called `` strangeness enhancement'' phenomenon. The first measurements of the Sigma0+anti-Sigma0 transverse momentum spectrum and integrated yield in pp collisions at the LHC are presented and compared to that of the Lambda baryon and to results from simulations using the pQCD based generators.
