This workshop is jointly organized by the QUASAR and THz-Groups and covers the R&D work of both groups in Accelerator Science and Technology.
During the five-day workshop, the participants will work on the following topics:
> Beam Instrumentation for Present and Duture Particle Accelerators;
> Challenges from Vacuum Technology;
> Accelerator Beam Dynamics;
> Ion beam-based Cancer Therapy;
> Disentanglement in Data Analysis.
The workshop also contains a careers session that is targeted at researchers at the early stage of their careers, i.e. M.Sc./Ph.D. students and young Postdocs and shall help facilitating their next career steps.
