We recommend regular Covid tests before and during the conference.
The Covid testing container in front of the main building is open on Sunday until 5 pm and from 8 am to 5 pm during the conference.
PCR tests are free. The result is available within 24 hours. All participants can get one rapid antigen test for free (just show them your strings badge). Further rapid antigen tests are subsidized for participants (~5 euros). Photo ID is required to get tested. Having a smartphone at hand will make the process easier.
Austria has lifted the entry restrictions temporarily put in place to tackle the coronavirus pandemic. Proof of vaccination/recovery or a test is no longer needed. Consult this page to stay up-to-date regarding the current entry requirements.
Please note that in Vienna an FFP2 mask must be worn on all forms of public transport as well as in enclosed stops, stations, and platforms (this is currently recommended outside Vienna but not mandatory).
