Wednesday 20th July is free after lunch. There are a few activities planned for the afternoon before the conference dinner.
Rainbow Tour
On the free afternoon on Wednesday July 20 you have the opportunity to join a guided tour on the history of homosexuality at the University of Vienna. The tour starts at 14:30 and is organized by L Glaser. More information about the tour can be found here.
There is a limit of 25 participants. You will be able to sign up at the information desk.
Afternoon hikes
We will have three organized hikes led by Harold Steinacker and student volunteers. Two of these hikes will lead you to the vineyards in the hills in Vienna's northwestern part with plenty of nice views of the city. These two hikes will end directly at the conference dinner venue. The third hike will take you to the Prater, the traditional green lung of the city next to the Danube. Click here for a more detailed description of the respective hikes.

Please be advised that Vienna is due to experience a heatwave and the temperature forecast for Wednesday is 36 deg Celsius (96.8 deg F). Please carry sunscreen and plenty of water (and some food, if you think it necessary). Having tick repellant is also recommended. All routes are planned such that water and food can be purchased at the halfway-point.
Conference dinner venue
The conference dinner will take place at the Heurigen Fuhrgassl--Huber, Neustift am Walde 68, 1190 Vienna at 19:00. (Click here if you want to learn more about the Viennese "Heurigen" restaurants)
Buses to the conference dinner will also leave at 18:00 from Rathausplatz 5 (to the left of the main building https://goo.gl/maps/hpzbuBWWK7aoPsnH7).
By public transport, Fuhrgassl--Huber is conveniently reached with the bus line 35A, bus stop "Neustift am Walde". From there it is only a few steps to the venue.
