Participants are expected to arrange for their accommodation in Pisa. General information about accommodation can be found on the website of the Municipality of Pisa.
There are several choices for accommodations in Pisa, ranging from traditional hotels to privately rented rooms, all within walking distance from the conference venue, and from the main points of interest in Pisa.
We highlighted the area within 0,5 and 1 km from the center of Pisa in the map below.
The estimate for 3-stars hotels ranges in 60-100 EUR per night (4-stars hotels: 100-150 EUR). Please note that a visitor's tourist fee of 2.00 Euros per night per person for four-star hotels or of 1.5 Euros per night per person for all the others, will also be charged for the first 5 nights.

A block of 10 single rooms + 10 rooms with kitchen cabinet has been pre-booked in the Residence Le Benedettine.
In order to make a reservation, please write an email info@residence.unipi.it specifying Higgs2022 in the subject.
Booking blocks are from 5 to 13 November.
This room block booking will expire on September 5th, 2022.

About the guesthouse:
Residence Le Benedettine - housed in the former monastery on Lungarno Sonnino - is the University of Pisa’s new guesthouse that provides accommodation for both Italian and international students, researchers and professors. The newly renovated three-story housing is situated in the old town, and is walking distance from the central train station, various other public transport services and the main university buildings, schools and departments. Room types include: single, single with French bed, twin and double (although some double rooms can be considered small apartments). Each room is equipped with a private bathroom, Air Conditioning, Free Wifi 32-inch LCD TV, minibar, room service, and most rooms have a kitchen cabinet. The newly manufactured furnishings comply with the international regulations for user safety.
