The Orthodox Academy of Crete (OAC) is a public welfare institution in the category of National Foundations. It functions in canonical relationship with the Holy Metropolis of Kissamos and Selinon, and it operates under the spiritual auspices of the Ecumenical Patriarch of Constantinople.
The Orthodox Academy of Crete is located in the area of Gonia, at Kolympari, Chania, in the Municipality of Platanias, next to the historic Holy Monastery of Panagia Odigitria of Gonia (17th century).
