Code of Conduct

The SUSY conferences are committed to providing a safe environment for the exchange of ideas for all participants irrespective of their gender, race, ethnicity, religion, national origin, sexual orientation, disability or physical attributes.

It is expected that the participants will conduct themselves in a respectful manner at all times. Any action, language or behaviour, whether in-person or digital (be it e-mail, in real-time comments, or on other social media) that is intended to offend, demean, threaten, or which can be construed as harassment, will not be tolerated.

Any such incident should be reported to local organizers and may result in a warning and in extreme situations expulsion from the conference.

This code of conduct serves only as a guideline for organizers and participants and is supplemental to the laws of the country and of the code of the venue where the conference is being held.

Rules for participants from Russian and Belarusian institutions

In response to the Russian invasion of Ukraine and the subsequent statement of support from some Russian Federation Institutes and considering the recent measurements taken by the CERN council, the SUSY 2023 Local Organising Committee has decided to suspend the participation of all the researchers affiliated to the institutions located in the Russian Federation and in the Republic of Belarus in all scientific committees and activities related to the SUSY 2023 conference. As a consequence, people employed by these institutions should participate to the conference activities on personal basis (without their affiliation).
