Description
Abstract
I will provide an introduction into trapped ion technology and how this can be used to develop quantum computers. Scaling up current quantum computers is a major challenge. I will present an overview of a promising approach to scaling up a trapped ion quantum computer that can unlock the many applications of quantum computing.
