Stay Expenses

Stay expenses for the school attendants from abroad for the 2 weeks

To be paid by the school participants:

=> NO Registration fee 

=> Hotel accommodation - the cost of the single or double room, including breakfast, is here

=> Lunch can be taken in many different places in the campus

=> Dinner can be taken at USP at the Sweden Restaurant (in front of Inova USP Center)

=> School banquet: 150 BRL (28.70 € / 31.32 USD)

THUS A TOTAL of: 750 €/820 USD/3925BRL if DR-Ibis Budget stay

          or 1200€/1310 USD/6270 BRL for SR-Ibis Budget stay

Supported by the school organization

=> Bus transportation from the hotel to the school and back

=> Coffee-breaks (twice per day)

=> Social events

Remarks based on the numbers quoted in this Table:

1. Students: encouraged to share the room, as in many such international events.
2. The increase in cost choosing SR/DR and depending the accommodation choice is  roughly of 450€/ 500€ (for Ibis budget) and of  500$/ 550$(for Ibis)
3. The difference in total cost for the same category (e.g DR or SR) but comparing the accommodation choice:
4. The increase in total cost for DR Ibis/Ibis Budget is roughly 190€ / 210$  (~20%                                                   for SR Ibis/Ibis Budget is roughly 210/ 270$   (~20%)
5.  The total cost of the school is rather good,  taking into account, Sao Paulo is not a cheap place. And comparing with other international event prices, without mentioning the school duration, services offered (labs, auditorium etc..) and program quality.
