VELO Upgrade II Workshop
CWI
Amsterdam
This workshop is dedicated to brainstorm and discussion sessions about the future upgrade of the VELO detector. we would like to invite all members of LHCb and potential future collaborators to come to Amsterdam (Nikhef) and join these lively discussions. The program includes physics constraints, ideas for readout, new mechanical concepts, sensor and ASIC developments, as well as special cooling techniques.
The workshop is planned to start with a reception coffee at midday of Monday 6th of February and continue till midday of Wednesday the 8th. A complete timetable is being prepared and the sessions defined in the timetable section.
Hotel reservations are not organised centrally but a list of hotels nearby is provided here. A registration fee is requested form the participants to cover dinner and venue costs €125 for Post-docs and staff and €75 for students. Payment details can be found here.
