Description

This search for superpartner particles in events with leptonically decaying W and Z bosons and a multiplicity of jets, including up to two bottom quark jets, is the first search of its kind at the LHC. The sought out signature arises from weak production of a chargino-neutralino pair with cascade decays to two neutralinos, that each decay through hadronic R-parity violating interactions to three strongly interacting quarks. In this talk, we present the first foray into this experimentally challenging and previously untested class of electroweak scale supersymmetric models of nature with signatures that substantially overlap with multijet production in electroweak or rare strongly interacting standard model processes, suffering from substantial theoretical uncertainties. Results are highlighted using the full Run 2 CMS dataset.
