Description

A search is conducted for boosted Higgs production in association with a vector boson (VH) in V(qq), H(bb) decay channel at the LHC proton-proton collider. This production mode grows in relative contribution to the total Higgs production cross section with p_{T}. The process is used to probe the VH coupling for signs of new physics at high energy scales. The result is based on the full 13 TeV dataset collected by the CMS detector in 2016, 2017, and 2018, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 138 fb^{-1}. The H(bb) and V (qq) decays are isolated by selecting large-radius jets and exploiting jet substructure and dedicated heavy flavor taggers for boosted resonances based on advanced machine learning techniques. Bottom- and charm-tagging scores are used to define independent regions targeting different decays of Higgs with p_{T}>450 GeV and the associated vector boson. The VH signal strength is extracted by performing a fit to data in the leading large-radius jet mass.
