Description
A search for light scalars decaying to two tau leptons at high transverse momentum is presented using data collected from proton-proton collisions at \sqrt{s} = 13 TeV during Run2 by the CMS experiment at the LHC, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 138 fb^{-1}. The scalar candidates are identified and reconstructed using novel machine-learning techniques based on interaction networks. A mass range spanning 10 to 400 GeV is probed in this search and the result at 125 GeV is interpreted as a constraint on the Higgs boson.
