Description

This workshop will discuss the next development items and priorities for RNTuple. The discussion follows the first public version of the RNTuple on-disk format in ROOT v6.34 and prepares for the release of a first set of public APIs in ROOT v6.36 (H1/2025).

The first afternoon focuses on interface related topics, in particular on the discussion and follow-up of the HEP-CCE API review.

The second afteroon focuses on upcoming developments, in particular a first complete schema evolution system, meta-data support, and storage of SoA types. A discussion on priorities for 2025 will take place.
