August 2, 2016: All the contributions that were written up using the WPCF 2014 conference style and were not published elsewhere are corially invited to the on-line only and free of charge, refereed electronic journal JCEGI, to be printed in the first issue of Special Topics in High Energy Physics. This journal already published the WPCF Conference Report and decided to start this new series, dedicated to special topics such as femtoscopy and diffraction in high energy physics. We will contact each WPCF 2014 contributors about this favourable news: publication of WPCF 2014 proceedings in a free to read and free of charge, online only, refereed journal.
April 11, 2016: The first edition of the proceedings of WPCF 2014 was published as SLAC SPIRES e-conf volume, SLAC eConf C140825.8 . There was a few month time delay of processing it on the SLAC side, but we still would like to improve this proceedings a bit, as we received a possibility for publishing it in an on-line only refereed journal. So stay tuned, we will contact the authors if we get the green light, in this case the proceedings will be a journal publication as well (if your WPCF 2014 results were not already published elsewhere).
October 21, 2014: Sample files for the electronic proceedings were uploaded today. Sorry for the delay. Information about the e-proceedings are also sent out today.
September 1, 2014: A scanned copy of the conference photo is uploaded.
September 1, 2014: Proceedings of WPCF 2014 will be on-line edited as a SLAC SPIRES e-conf e-print proceedings. General instructions on how to prepare e-print conference contributions are provided now, more specific instructions with deadlines can be expected next week.
August 24, 2014: The list of our supporters is finalized. We welcome the Academia Humana Foundation, Budapest, Hungary, Berze Secondary/Middle School, and Berze Science Club Gyöngyös, Hungary among our supporters and we would like to express our gratitude to all of our patrons for their contributions that helps to bring WPCF2014 a success!
August 24, 2014: Arrival by car: Please find your way to the main bus station in Gyöngyös (e.g. following M3 -> 3 routes then make a left turn to the Mátra hills on the main road 24, Pass the last traffic lamps in Gyöngyös (at this point you start to see the hills and also a SPAR supermarket). Continue on road 24 till you pass the Károly Róbert College, you will see these buildings on your left.
Then make a left turn and find the parking of Károly Róbert College, lot opened from 4 pm on Sunday August 24 2014. Park your car there and walk to the main building, WPCF 2014 reception is in the main hall of the main building and the main building is the same as the biggest building. Its main gate looks to the East, towards the hills and the garden as indicated on this picture.
August 24, 2014: Arrival on foot: Walk along Mátrai út, same as country road 24, there is a gate just opposite to the main building of Károly Róbert College that will be opened from 4 pm Sunday August 24, from this gate you basically also see the nice view of the College as indicated on this picture. Walk across the Gyöngyös creek on the small bridge and you have= biggest) building.

August 21, 2014: The airport-conference site direct transfer schedule is now defined.
Each bus will leave from the Budapest Liszt Ferenc Airport, Terminal 2. They will wait for the flights listed below and a hostess will collect the participants of WPCF 2014 with a name table and a WPCF 2014 logo at hand. - Hotel Opal on Saturday from 16:00 - 19:00
- Hotel Opal on Sunday morning from 10:00-13:00
- Károly Róbert College on Sunday afternoon from 16:00 - 19:00
- Károly Róbert College, Monday to Friday from 8:30 - 16:30
August 20, 2014: Based on the feed-back from the participants, a new preliminary agenda was compiled and uploaded to conference materials. August 19, 2014: Sorry for the delay, but fortunately now the first order approximated prelimary programme has been compiled and uploaded to conference materials.
August 18, 2014: In case someone missed this, the student support was granted to every applying student, i.e. if you are a student, the 50% registration fee support is given to you.
August 15, 2014: The list of our supporters is again updated. We thank the indirect support of the Széchenyi 2020 fund of the Government of Hungary and the European Union.
August 13, 2014: The list of our supporters is updated. We welcome CERN and Rubik Studio among the indirect supporters of WPCF 2014, as well as a private company and private persons from the Gyöngyös region.
August 12, 2014: Please help by letting us know your arrival and departure schedules at http://1drv.ms/1xt6BRx so that we can help you with your direct airport transfers to the conference site. So far only 10 people filled out the above form, we need about 30 more feedbacks to schedule the direct transport buses reasonably well and in a cost effective manner.
August 12, 2014: Hotel reservation was confirmed for all participants. Hotel Opal (***superior) was overbooked, so it took some time to respond, but a suitable wine Hotel Sziluett (***) has been reserved for WPCF 2014 and were commended in particular to the less senior participants.
August 11, 2014: We disabled the 10 EUR extra fee for credit card payments, this was possible due to the change of EUR/HUF course.
July 29, 2014: Second circular of WPCF 2014 was mailed to all registered participants.
July 24, 2014: List of WPCF 2014 conveners added to the Committees menu item.

July 14, 2014: Deadline for registration is extended till July 31. On-site registration will be possible with credit-card payments too, not only in cash, but for a small extra fee of 10 EUR to cover the related expenses.
