Webcast/Recording

Webcast and Recording of the KSM2015

We will provide video recording of all keynote talks (probably all talks in the big lecture hall), including sage discussions. The videos will always include both the speaker and the slides. This service is carried out by the Frankfurt University media technology group (MT group).

You can test if the technical conditions on your playback device (i.e. computer) are fulfilled by replaying past events from the MT group video repository. Most likely we will also have live streaming of all videos. Life streams, if available, appear on the MT live stream website. We apologize for the German-only websites, but the video interface seems to be in English.

If you plan to stream videos life to your institute or you encounter or worry about technical difficulties, do not hesitate to contact us (see Support & Hotline contact data on the left).

Remarks

  • Traditional forms of distribution are not replaced by the video format. That is, the slides (PDF) of all talks are made public, if possible. The general conference is not affected by this service. Video recording will be installed stationary in the big lecture hall.
  • At registration, you can choose if you want to be recorded if you are giving a talk. We will respect your choice and privacy.
  • All copyright regarding the videos remain with the author. The formal privacy contract will be released soon at this place.
  • If you are in the audience, you might participate at the discussion. If you take one of the portable microphones, your question will be available on the record, enabling the digital audience to follow the discussion. In no case anybody from the audience is recorded cinematically.
