Scientific Programme

The meeting takes place in July 2015, from Monday 20 to Friday 24. Each day is devoted to a general theme. Each talk addresses a specific topic within the general theme of the day according to the scheme below:

Monday: black holes in astrophysics and cosmology;
Tuesday: black hole evaporation and thermodynamics;
Wednesday: black holes in quantum gravity and alternative theories of gravity;
Thursday: black hole, guage-gravity duality, holography;
Friday: acoustic black holes, thermodynamics, information in gravity and applied sciences.

  • Students

    Submissions by PhD students. The student talks take 15 minutes plus 5 additional minutes for discussion.

  • Juniors

    Submissions by Postdocs (PhD after Jan 1, 2009). The junior talks take 15 minutes plus 5 additional minutes for discussion.

  • Seniors

    Submissions by faculty members and senior postdocs (PhD before Jan 1, 2009). These talks take 25 minutes plus 5 additional minutes for discussion.

  • Keynotes

    Submissions by the Keynote speakers. At the KSM 2015 we have 16 speakers each giving a one hour talk (including discussion time).
