Description

CMS Mono-X (X=jet, V, photon, heavy flavors, etc.) searches will be discussed mainly.

Summary

Dark matter searches in pp collisions can probe a parameter space of dark matter models that is complementary to that covered by direct detection experiments and astrophysical and cosmological observations. The Compact Muon Solenoid (CMS) experiment has an extensive program of new physics searches, exploiting various final state signatures, that target dark matter production under different model assumptions. I present a latest summary of the results from this ongoing effort and a prospect for analyses of the data to be collected in 2016 and beyond.
