The 18th International Conference on Electromagnetic Isotope Separators and Related Topics (EMIS-2018) will be held at CERN, Geneva, Switzerland from 16 to 21 September 2018.
EMIS is the long-running flagship conference series for the presentation of new and unique techniques in the field of low-energy nuclear science. Following the first EMIS conference in 1955 in Harwell in the United Kingdom this conference series has continued for 60 years and we are proud to host the 18th edition at CERN.
The conference will take place in the main auditorium at CERN and exhibitor space will be situated in the main CERN building. Many of the thousands of physicists, scientists, engineers and students who make up the CERN community pass through this building daily. Poster sessions and coffee breaks will be organized in the same area.
1) Participation as a Delegate
Delegates should register through the EMIS2018 indico website (https://indico.cern.ch/e/EMIS2018).
Payment should be made within 14 days of registration, via credit card or bank transfer.
Early registration 580 CHF per person.
Full registration 750 CHF per person.
Student registration 450 CHF per person
Participation is confirmed upon receipt of payment. Failure to pay by the due date may lead to exclusion from participation.
Cancellations must be communicated via e-mail to EMIS2018@cern.ch. For cancellations received by 15 August 2018, CERN shall refund the registration fee minus a CHF 50 processing fee. Apart from exceptional circumstances to be decided by the conference organisers, no refund will be made for cancellations received after 15 August 2018, but delegates may designate a substitute to participate in their stead.

Payment
Payment should be made via bank transfer. Participation (including, where applicable, booth space) is confirmed upon receipt of payment. Failure to pay in time will not discharge the applicable fees.

Sponsorship fees are not refundable.

Set up, dismantling and storage
Set up: Sunday, 16 September 2018 between 17:00 and 20:00.
Dismantling: Friday, 21 September 2018 between 16:00 and 18:00.
In planning the delivery of your booth material, please take into account that storage space is limited.
The sponsor or exhibitor shall provide CERN with an inventory of the items that it intends to put on display.
Booths
Booths should be attended during exhibition opening hours by an authorized representative of the exhibitor, who shall be technically qualified to explain and demonstrate the equipment or services on display.
The conference organisers reserve the right to remove any display which they consider incompatible with or otherwise objectionable with a view to the scientific and educational nature, and the general running, of the Conference.
Except as agreed by the conference organisers, use of the booth shall be exclusively by the exhibitor.
Compliance
The exhibitor shall be solely responsible for compliance with CERN's rules and regulations concerning health, safety and the environment as well as the Code of Conduct.
Logos and materials to be provided by sponsors and exhibitors
Sponsors and exhibitors grant permission to the conference organisers to use their logo in promotional materials, including on the conference website, in the conference programme and on signs.
To this end, sponsors and exhibitors should supply the conference organisers (via e-mail to EMIS2018@cern.ch) with an electronic version (300 dpi or greater) of their logo. The conference organisers will consult with the sponsors and exhibitors on the proposed use of their logo.
Any materials to be provided by the sponsors and exhibitors must arrive at CERN no later than 1 September 2018.
3) Liability
Save in case of gross negligence on the part of the conference organisers, all risks related to the participation shall be borne by the participant who shall hold the conference organisers and their employees harmless from related liability.
4) Conference Cancellation
In the unlikely event that the conference is cancelled due to force majeure or a similar event, all participants (delegates, sponsors and exhibitors) will be refunded for any fees paid. However, the conference organisers are not in a position to provide compensation for any other costs incurred by participants.
Any differences that may arise in relation to the EMIS-2018 conference shall be settled amicably.
