For the Tau2018 a contingent of rooms has been blocked for conference participants. This contingent is limited and will be allocated on a "first comes - first serves" basis. See the list below.
Amsterdam has more than 100 hotels, but as Amsterdam is a very popular destination - especially during the high season - we advise the participants to book at their earliest convenience. Besides the hotels mentioned below, you can also find a wide range of hotels and hostels on common sites such as www.hotel.com, www.booking.com, or www.expedia.com, including short-term bargain. Due to a good public transport system in the Netherlands, a hotel outside Amsterdam City Center can also be an option.
Block-booked rooms are available at the following hotels:
- Westcord Fashion Hotel (registration form): 30 rooms, 139 euro for a single room. Half an hour walk through the Vondelpark to the conference venue. To reserve a room, please fill the linked registration form and send it to the e-mail address indicated on the form. Rooms will be held until 26 August 2018.
- Hotel Piet Hein: single rooms for 139 euro and economy double rooms for 169 euro are sold out. There are only a few premium rooms still available. They are over 200 euro. 7 min walk to the conference venue. Please send an email to the hotel: anita@hotelpiethein.nl and mention Nikhef and the conference in order to book a room. (Limited availability, first come first serve). Rooms will be held until 23 August 2018.
