On Wednesday 14^th February, a welcome drink is offered

• get some drinks and snacks right after the last talk of the day
• directions: just lift yourself up by 3 floors :-)

On Sunday 18^th February, we'll go for a exkursion to MedAustron

MedAustron in Wiener Neustadt is one of the most cutting-edge centres for ion-beam therapy and research in Europe, currently in the commissioning phase. Besides clinical research, the synchrotron-based centre also offers opportunities for non-clinical research activities, especially in medical radiation physics, radiation biology, and experimental physics. Worldwide, there are only three other centres like MedAustron that offer radiation therapy with both protons and carbon ions in one place.

• Departure at the Kolpinghaus: 10:00
• Duration: approximately 6 hours
• Location: Departure and final destination at the Hotel Kolpinghaus Wien-Zentral (by bus)
• Departure at MedAustron: 15:00 (arrival time app. 16:00)

On 19^th February, we'll go for a social dinner
