The IPPOG Spring Meeting 2019 will be held from Thursday 23 to Saturday 25 of May 2019 at GSI-FAIR, Darmstadt.
The meeting will be hosted by EMMI, the ExtreMe Matter Institute, at GSI-FAIR. The ExtreMe Matter Institute EMMI at the GSI Helmholtz Centre for Heavy Ion Research is dedicated to research in the area of matter at the extremes of density and temperature, ranging from the coldest to the hottest forms of matter in the Universe. The plan is to take the 18:42 or 19:12 bus from the GSI parking lot (depending what time the meeting finishes). We will need to change for a tram and stop at "Darmstadt Luisenplatz", from there we need to walk 10 minutes to the restaurant.
Dinner tonight is at your own expenses but note that we have pre-booked with your selection of menu (menu is at 20 Euros, no drinks included). Please don't cancel it as someone will need to pay for your absence. If you can't remember what your choice was please refer to the list attached.

Bus to Heidelberg
A bus will depart at 14:00 to Darmstadt Train Station (from where one can also get the Airliner bus to Frankfurt airport) and then Heidelberg for a visit. Please note that the bus will not be back to Darmstadt, but that the city is on the way to Frankfurt and there is a regular direct train to the airport.
