We will be accommodated at Grand Hotel Napoca, a 4-star hotel, with confortable rooms and which is specialised in accommodation for conference groups. The hotel is located in the center of Cluj-Napoca, next to the central park and to the Someşul Mic river, close to the Old Town and to the bars & nightlife area.

We will provide all transport during the School (between the accommodation, UBB campus, and all other offsite excursions) - but not before or after the School.

You should arrive at Napoca hotel for registration during the afternoon or early evening of Sunday 15 September 2019.
You are responsible for organising your own travel to CSC 2019, as the School does not organize travel tickets for participants. The travel cost to and from the School is not included in the school fee.
Once your application is accepted and you get an Invitation Letter, we strongly encourage you to make your travel arrangements without delay, as plane tickets to Cluj-Napoca during this period risk getting expensive if you wait too long.
It is your responsibility to obtain any visa that may be required in order for you to travel to Romania and participate in the School. If you need a visa then that is a cost you will be required to pay. The organisers will not pay for individuals’ visa application costs, whether or not the application is successful, nor is this cost that has been factored in to the participation fee.
If you require a visa to enter Romania, please contact the organisers of the School without delay at Computing.School@cern.ch, so that a Letter of Invitation may be organised by Babeș-Bolyai University as the host institute in Romania. Without such a letter, you may not be able to apply for a visa successfully.
