How to get to Lopud

Getting to Lopud Island from Dubrovnik airport may be much easier than you think it would be. There are regular airport shuttle buses runing from the Dubrovnik airport to the Gruž harbor. From the Gruž harbor ferry/boat operated by Jadrolinija agency runs several times per day.

Getting from Dubrovnik Airport to Gruž harbor

The Dubrovnik Airport is located in Čilipi, Konavle, approximately 22 km from the Dubrovnik Gruž harbor. The regular Dubrovnik Airport Shuttle Bus service is provided by Atlas Agency in Dubrovnik. Shuttle bus leaves about 20-30 minutes after every flight arrival. It takes about 30 to 40 minutes for the shuttle bus to reach Main Bus Station located in the Gruž Port . The price for one-way ticket is 40 kn/6 EUR, payment on the spot in cash (kuna only) or via Credit/debit card (Amex, Maestro, MC, Visa, Diners). Dubrovnik’s Main Bus Station is located right next to the ferry terminal in the Gruž harbor. You will have to walk about 800 meters to reach the Jadrolinija Agency office where you can buy the tickets for the ferry/boat to Lopud.      

Getting from Gruž harbor to Lopud

The ferry to Lopud leaves exactly accross the street from the before mentioned Jadrolinija Agency office in the Gruž harbor. The ferry usually runs 4 times a day, depending on the day of the week and the season. You can check the timetable here. One-way ticket is 19 kn/2,5 EUR payable in kunas in the Jadrolinija Agency office. Ferry tickets can also be bought online through the Jadrolinija Agency web page.

Please note that on 13th October (Sunday) there are only two ferries from Dubrovnik to Lopud scheduled for 9.30am and 8.00pm.
