Dear Colleagues,
In two weeks we will all meet at Lopud Island for the 28th International Workshop on Vertex Detectors. We would like to provide you with some useful information.

As you can see, the length for oral presentations is 22 mins and 8 mins are foreseen for questions.
The proceedings will be published as in the previous years in PoS (http://pos.sissa.it) with the following limits: 9 pages for oral presentations and 6 pages for posters. More information can be found on our web page.
A few facts about the arrival. We would like to remind you that usually there 4-5 ferries per day between the Dubrovnik port and Lopud Island but on Sunday, October 13 there are only two: at 9:30am and 8pm.
If someone will arrive much earlier then the last ferry and would like to visit Dubrovnik, luggage could be stored in the port. The port has a Travel corner office for luggage deposit just next to the ferry tickets office. Prices are 12 HRK for start and every hour is 5 HRK or there is a possibility to buy a daily ticket for 50 HRK.
There is also a possibility to book a private transfer to the hotel: a taxi from the airport to a small pier in front of the island and a boat transfer to Lopud. The prices are the following: for 1-4 people 800 HRK, for 5-7 people 950 HRK. To help with organisation of the private transfer we would like to ask those who plan to use it to fill a Doodle poll.
