Thank you for accepting the invitation to give an oral presentation or present your study as a poster at the 28th International Workshop on Vertex Detectors.
Abstract submission and registration
The abstract submission deadline was extended till July 31. At the beginning of August the Workshop program will be finalised and you will be able to find it at the Workshop web page
We encourage everybody to complete the registration, pay the workshop fees and book a room. Remember that rooms are guaranteed by the Hotel Lafodia Resort only till August 15. All needed information can be found on the Workshop web page.
Arrival information
Information on how to get to the conference venue can be found here. As explained there, the last part of the travel involves taking a boat from Dubrovnik to Lopud Island. Schedules for regular ferry lines can be found here. On the arrival day, Sunday October 13th, there are two scheduled regular line trips, at 9:30 and at 20:00.
In order to organize possible additional boat transfers from Dubrovnik
to Lopud island, we ask you to provide us with the information of your arrival flight (Flight number and Arrival time). You can provide this information by filling the relevant section of the registration form. In case you don't know it yet at the time of registration, you can edit the already submitted registration form at a later time. Based on the information we receive we may organize one or a few additional transfers at different times and will inform the participants before the conference.
Proceedings
As usual the proceedings of the Workshop will be published in PoS. Deadlines, templates and detailed instructions will be sent about a month before the Workshop.
We are looking forward to see all of you on Lopud island in October.
