Description

The autumn school’s purpose is to discuss scientific topics relevant to the research program of the NA61/SHINE experiment at the CERN Super Proton Synchrotron and to introduce the principal concepts of the modern high energy experiments.

Every day a different topic will be covered: 

  • Monday: strong interactions

  • Tuesday: cosmic rays

  • Wednesday: neutrino 

  • Thursday: accelerators and detectors

  • Friday: data processing and software

The school is free to attend. Registration deadline: 24th of October.
