The INOVA Center of the University of Sao Paulo (USP) serves as the headquarters of the 7th edition of the INFIERI School series from August 27 to September 10, 2023.

The poster session at the end of the school was held at the INOVA Center.

The whole variety of Hand's Lab are installed in several USP Institutes and Schools or in the Sao Paulo City area, i.e.: the Institute of Physics including the Plasma Physics and Control of Oscillation Group and the Tokamak Lab, the Pelletron accelerator Lab, the Institute of Mathematics and Statistics (IME),  the USP Polytechnic School, various places at the Nuclear and Energy Research Institute of the National Nuclear Energy Commission (IPEN-CNEN) -- including the reactor and the laser applications Center -- also located in the USP Main Campus,  the INOVA.Center and the Institute MAUA of Technology at Sao Paulo (IMT-MAUA), (click on VENUE for more details about each Institutes).

The detailed program of the INFIERI2023 School edition can be found in the TIMETABLE. The content of the timetable is evolving with the development of the school program. 

A brief introductory bio of the Lecturer or Keynote Presenter as well as the abstract of the Lecture is being included for each contribution in the timetable page, as well as the indication that Hands on Labs are prepared related to the topic of the Lecture or keynote (Note that not all the Labs are indicated for the moment)

=====> HANDS-ON LABORATORIES

IN ORDER YOUR REGISTRATION IS TAKEN INTO ACCOUNT and thus  gives you access to these Labs, YOU HAVE TO REGISTER TO THE SCHOOL.

HANDS-ON LABS ARE A PART OF THE WHOLE TRAINING; THEY ARE INDEED COMPLEMEBTARY TO/DEEPENING THE LECTURES.

====> SYMPOSIUM on "HIGH TEC1H & FUNDAMENTAL RESEARCH: THE UNPAREIL LINK"

Held at the auditorium of the Polytechnic school at USP, on September 9, this is a premiere in this global event series.
The aim is to stress the fundamental importance of the close link between High Tech and Research, in a win-win relation between these two "worlds".
Representatives of High Tech firms will present their high tech field, its prospects as well as the synergy with Fundamental Research. It will consist of a series of presentations, movie projections and discussion panel.

====> BEST POSTERS AWARDS:

A total of 32 posters were presented covering a large variety of different topics corresponding to the cross-disciplianry goals of this School series. The presentation was held at the entrance Hall of the Innova Center at USP. The full details of all the posters and presenters are in the timetable of Saturday September 9 (end of the timetable)
