Description

In the High-Luminosity phase of the LHC several observables will be measured with relative statistical errors in the 0.1% range. Such a high precision will be available also in the TeV energy range, where one might hope to reveal the first hints of New Physics. These signals will be significant only if the Standard Model (SM) predictions have a residual theoretical uncertainty of comparable size, which requires to systematically compute the NNLO QCD-EW and the NNLO-EW corrections to all the main standard candle processes. These corrections represent a formidable computational challenge because of the cumbersome structure of the scattering amplitudes induced by the presence of several energy scales.

The recent burst of QCD calculations for several multiscale processes at NNLO and N3LO stems from important new formal developments and understanding of the analytic properties of the scattering amplitudes. This workshop aims at gathering experts active in the study of the formal properties of scattering amplitudes and loop integrals in QCD as well as experts involved in the program of NNLO-EW calculations. By sharing new techniques and discussing current computational bottlenecks we hope to promote new developments across both communities.

The program will consist of a few review talks between the 6th and 8th of February, leaving ample time for informal discussions during the whole week.
