Description

The Physics Project Days (PPD) are an outreach project dedicated to promote gender equality in physics. During this four-day workshop, female high school students are invited to experience modern research in an unbiased environment to eliminate possible concerns about a career in science. In the project, the students investigate and gain insights into one topic from a broad spectrum of fields, ranging from particle physics to solid-state physics and beyond. The PPD are often the first encounter with female scientists and like-minded students from other schools for the participants, encouraging them to pursue their interests and dreams regardless of stereotypes.
