Social Program

A wide range of associated (social) events and activities have been foreseen to take place during LHCP2025 in Taipei. These include:

  • Welcome Reception on the evening of May 5 (Mon.),
  • Poster Session Cocktail on the evening of May 6 (Tue.),
  • Excursion (half-day) on the afternoon of May 7 (Wed.), and
  • Conference Banquet on the evening of May 7 (Wed.).

In addition, there will also be a set of associated public outreach events taking place during the LHCP2025 conference in Taipei.


Welcome Reception

  • Location: NTU GIS Convention Center, right outside the main auditorium.
  • Details: We are delighted to welcome all participants to the conference with an evening reception. Join us for drinks and light meals while networking with fellow attendees and speakers in a relaxed setting. It’s a great opportunity to kick off the event and connect with colleagues in the beautiful NTU campus.

Poster Session Cocktail

  • Location: NTU GIS Convention Center, Room PLATO.
  • Details: After the first day of presentations, we invite you to unwind and enjoy the Poster Session Cocktail. Drinks and local snacks will be served while you explore the fascinating posters displayed by our contributors. It’s a wonderful chance to engage in informal discussions about research findings and ideas.

Excursion

Location: National Center for Traditional Arts - Yilan Park (NCFTA)
Date: May 7 (Wed.), 13:30 - 17:00

We’ve planned a half-day excursion to the National Center for Traditional Arts in Yilan, an outstanding cultural destination located just outside Taipei. Buses will transport all participants to this venue, where you’ll have the chance to explore Taiwan’s rich history and traditional arts. The NCFTA showcases the island’s diverse culture through art exhibitions, live performances, and craft workshops, offering a deeper insight into Taiwan’s heritage.

Performance: Monkey King-Chaos in the Dragon Palace

Conference Banquet
