A guided tour of the magnet hall will be organized on the first day of the workshop (Wed, 15th of January 2025). The tour will take place between 10 AM and 11 AM. The workshop will start at 2 PM.

Meeting point and meeting time for the tour
Participants of the tour are kindly asked to arrive before 9:45 AM in building 30 (same building where the workshop will take place). The meeting point is room 30/2-40 (2nd floor, room 40), where you can also collect your workshop badge ahead of the magnet hall visit. Please use this link to find the building on the CERN site (enter '30/2-40' in the search mask on the top right in order to see the exact location of the room).
The magnet hall is about 10 min walking distance from building 30. The guides will bring you to the magnet hall (and back to building 30 after the visit).
After the visit, you can grab some lunch in the cafteria of building 30 (7th floor) or in Restaurant 2 in building 504 (see following link to locate Restaurant 2 on the CERN site). The workshop will start at 2 PM in building 30 (7th floor).
