Description
We present searches for exotic heavy quarks or leptoquarks using proton-proton collision data collected with the CMS detector. Excited or vector-like top and bottom quarks, and third-generation leptoquarks can all decay to highly energetic third-generation SM quarks. In CMS, searches for these heavy particles span several categories of reconstructed objects, from multi-leptonic to fully hadronic final states.
