Description
Recent precision studies of b-hadron properties and production performed by the ATLAS experiment are presented. The talk includes measurements of B-meson lifetimes and differential production cross-sections of Ds mesons in proton–proton collisions, together with ongoing studies of the radiative transition Bc* → Bcγ. These measurements and exploratory analyses provide stringent tests of heavy-quark dynamics, improve constraints on models of heavy-flavour production, and contribute to the understanding of hadron spectroscopy in the heavy-quark sector.
