Description
Amplitude analyses of multibody charm decays at LHCb offer a powerful framework to investigate their resonant substructure and the underlying strong-interaction dynamics. Using large samples of pp collision data, coherent amplitude models are employed to describe the interference of intermediate states across the available phase space. These studies allow the extraction of resonance parameters, relative phases, and fit fractions, providing essential input for precision studies of charm hadron spectroscopy and for measurements sensitive to CP violation.
