Description
With the increasing center-of-mass energy in collision experiments like the LHC, multi-parton interactions are becoming more important for understanding particle production in these environments. In this work, we investigate how the cross-sections for the associated production of quarkonia and open-charm hadrons scale with center-of-mass energy in proton-proton collisions. We obtain the predictions for the cross-section from LHC Run 1 energies (√s = 7 TeV) to FCC-hh energies (√s = 100 TeV) and compare with known models and available LHC experimental data. Preliminary results indicate that the correlation between the cross-section and the center-of-mass energy is not linear and can vary for different particle channels.
