Description
Plasma accelerator has made great progresses in the past few decades, with a promise to significantly reduce the size and cost of future large scale high energy accelerators. PATH ( Plasma Accelerator towards TeV Horizon) is a China initiated research effort toward future plasma based linear colliders. In this talk, the plans for PATH and research activities will be introduced, including detailed design study on high energy plasma based injectors for CEPC/FCC-ee, collider quality positron acceleration schemes, and experimental progresses of a dedicated research platform for electron/positron acceleration within IHEP.
