Call for Abstracts

  • Opening day
  • Submission deadline

The abstract submission deadline for both oral and poster presentations has been extended to June 10, 2026, at 23:59 PDT. After that, we will only accept abstracts from invited speakers and from experimental collaborations requiring delayed internal review.

Participants wishing to contribute to any session of ISMD 2026 are invited to submit abstracts for oral or poster presentations through the abstract submission system on the ISMD 2026 Indico website. All submissions will be reviewed by the relevant conveners, and authors will be notified of the acceptance or rejection of their abstracts by June 15, 2026.

All oral sessions at ISMD 2026 will be held in a plenary format; there will be no parallel sessions. Each oral presentation will last 25 minutes in total, including 20 minutes for the presentation and 5 minutes for Q&A.

The poster session will take place on the evening of the first day. Posters will remain on display throughout the symposium. In addition, poster presenters will each be scheduled to give a 5-minute flash talk during one of the plenary sessions.

Please note that submitting an abstract does not guarantee registration for ISMD 2026. The registration system is now open, and speakers are encouraged to complete their registration as soon as possible. Please follow the instructions below to submit your abstract. All speakers and poster presenters must be registered in Indico.

Descriptions for each scientific topic can be found in the “Scientific Programme.”
