The 54th International Symposium on Multiparticle Dynamics (ISMD 2026) will be held at National Central University in Chungli, Taiwan, from August 17 to 21, 2026.

The 54th edition of the International Symposium on Multiparticle Dynamics (ISMD) will bring together physicists from the particle, nuclear, and astrophysics communities for talks and discussions on all aspects and implications of the strong nuclear force and complex final states.

All scientific sessions at ISMD will be held in plenary format to encourage cross-disciplinary exchange. Key topics will include:

  • Hot and Dense QCD Matter
  • Hadron Structure: PDFs, Small-x and Large-x Physics
  • Hadron Spectroscopy, Exotic States, and Heavy Quark Physics
  • BSM and New Developments in High Energy Physics and Nuclear Physics
  • Cosmic Rays and Astroparticle Physics
  • Detectors and Methods for High Energy Physics and Nuclear Physics
  • Collectivity and Multiple Scattering
  • Multiparticle Correlations and Fluctuations
  • Forward and Diffractive Physics and Photon-Induced Processes

Descriptions for each scientific topic can be found in the “Scientific Programme.”  The symposium will also feature a poster session, with poster prizes and associated flash talks.
